Not a fan of the city? Drive two hours to Long Eddy, New York, where my NYC native aunt has a tiny home in the middle of the woods. My family loves it here as it’s right on the Delaware river and really far from the city.
NYC is a cheap way to explore a new place! The train ticket was about 30 dollars round trip. Exploring the city with friends is a great way to get out of your comfort zone.
